Anya Ayoung-Chee on Hot 97, US radio interview

Former Miss Trinidad and current Project Runway star, fashion designer Anya Ayoung-Chee made her US Hot 97.5FM radio debut earlier this morning on the Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg Show. Heres a snippet of the interview.

Tim Gunn in Trinidad. Anya in Project Runway top 3?

On-air mentor to designers on the reality television program Project Runway Tim Gunn was recently spotted on board a Caribbean Airlines flight destined to Trinidad. If you didn't know, Miss T&T Universe 2008 and Pilar fashion designer Anya Ayoung-Chee  is one of the contestants on the current season of the hit tv show. Does this mean that Anya has made it to the top 3, since Gunn is known for visiting the homes of each of the three finalist designers? It's very likely. We'll just have to tune in to see.

Actress Heidi Klum supports Anya Ayoung-Chee for Project Runway

Celebrity actress and judge of Season 9 of Project Runway has recently showed her support for T&T's first & only contestant in the international reality TV show. Anya is Trinidad and Tobago's former Miss Universe contestant and designer for Pilar clothing line.
The season will begin airing on Lifetime on July 28th, 2011 and will feature 20 designers who have hopes in becoming the next best American designer.

Anya Ayoung-Chee on the next season of Project Runway!

It’s official! PILAR and Anya de Rogue designer Anya Ayoung-Chee is in New York filming the next season of Project Runway!
Back in April, the designer tweeted about her interest:

The designer received the call to be on the 9th Season of the Emmy-award winning show earlier this month and told TLb she was “anxious and so excited”. Blog, Tom & Lorenzo released behind-the-scenes photos of the show being filmed at Battery Park in New York, where Ayoung-Chee can clearly be seen standing behind host Tim Gunn.
