The new
Beyoncé "Countdown" video shows some striking resemblance with movies from Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. It's not the first time Beyonce has been accused of stealing another artiste's artwork. However the person really to be blamed in each case is probably her choreographer. The visuals for her new video include obvious references to Audrey Hepburn à la her 1957 film 'Funny Face.' However, a few dance sequences and scenes in 'Countdown' may be a little too referential, bordering on blatant copying of even the wardrobe and aesthetics as well.
