Police investigators yesterday raided two St Andrew homes believed to be owned by the popular dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel. Investigators, escorted by heavily armed members of the security forces, had targeted two other premises in St Catherine that are linked to Kartel, whose given name is Adidja Palmer. Sources say the raids are part of a widening criminal probe against the artiste. However, Police Inspector Steve Brown, who was part of the operations, declined to discuss the probe and refused to say what investigators were searching for.
