Local rapper Ill Payne is taking marketing matters into his own hands. After ups and downs with the "middle-men" that are partially responsible for getting his music heard he released the following statement:

If you hear any Ill Payne Material on Radio and other controlled forms of media its because they played it by choice. All ILL Payne's Operations will be Via Internet and personal interaction in the streets until further notice . He is no longer dependent on controlled media because they have the power to make you seem big to the public 1day & the next they will cut you off and deceive the public in thinking that your no longer Hot.
