Nicki Minaj was assaulted? (911 Call recording)

Last month there were rumours circulating that Nicki Minaj was assaulted by her bf/hype-man Safaree Samuels. It seems as though these allegations may be true.
Nicki and Safaree both dispelled these rumours via Twitter:

Nicki: The fact that u believe a man either slapped or punched me in the face & didn’t leave on a stretcher w/his balls hangin off? #getaF%cknLife . The media could pee on ur leg & tell u its raining. You’d believe it. You’d believe u were an adopted martian if TMZ told u so. #stopit5

Safaree: 4the record I would never lay a hand on ANY woman, I have all sisters and No brothers And that's the last I'll say about that!!! God bless

TMZ acquired the tape of the fight between the couple during the 911 call which seems to indicate that Nicki was hit in the face by Safaree, as she is heard screaming "What you hit me for?!".
