Singer T-Pain is killing Auto-Tune for good, with his recent vowe to never use the vocal enhancing tool again!
T-Pain first emerged on the music scene back in 2005 and had many music lovers wondering about his synthesized-sounding voice. A sound we hadn't heard since the '80s, T-Pain brought Auto-Tune back to the forefront of music.
After awhile, T-Pain started receiving Auto-Tune backlash, with Jay-Z's song "DOA (Death Of Auto-Tune) and other anti-auto-tune statements.
In a recent statement, T-Pain said, "I vow right here, right now, to never use Auto-Tune again. I'm onto something that I think is bigger and better called The T-Pain Effect." T-Pain is indeed killing Auto-Tune. Don't jump for joy yet, T-Pain has partnered up with an audio technology company called iZotope to create a new sound called "T-Pain Effect."
This basically means, that yes, Auto-Tune is dead, but T-Pain is making up his own Auto-Tune-esque voice vocoder.
