Soulja Boy is set to star in a remake of the 1992 film Juice. He will play the role of “Bishop,” which was originally played by the late Tupac Shakur.
“Basically, it’s your boy Soulja and I’m Bishop in 2011, running around in the streets, man,” Soulja Boy told Vibe. “Cam’Ron reached out to get in the movie. Some of the original actors that were in the original reached out too.”
Soulja Boy recently released a mixtape called Juice on April 20, 2011, hosted by DJ Scream & DJ Swamp Izzo. The cover of the mixtape (illustrated above) is based on the movie Juice which starred Tupac Shakur.
Filming for the movie began April 28th in Atlanta.
