Nicki Minaj in Trinidad to shoot music video

Fresh off her win for the BET 2012 Award for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist; Nicki Minaj returns to Trinidad and Tobago to shoot her fourth video -Pound the Alarm – from her sophomore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. Given her hectic tour schedule, Minaj is scheduled to arrive in TNT this afternoon (Tuesday) to not only scout talent for but also to shoot the video with renowned director Benny Boom.



Boom who is responsible for her music video Right by My Side with Chris Brown; and always the visionary thought that it would be ideal to incorporate the rich landscape of Nicki’s birthplace in her new video. Casting call for all models is today (Tuesday) at The Paddock, Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain at 4:30pm. All interested parties are asked to bring his/her carnival costume. Casting company, High Definition Audio strongly advises that persons without carnival costumes will not be able to participate in the screening.
