Mark Hardy fuses soca, latin and electropop with Dia and DJ Dalool

In his quest to carry his Caribbean-inspired sound to an international market, T&T’s ragga-fusion artiste Mark Hardy is consistently blazing a trail towards becoming a household name.
Hardy, whose real name is Marcus Braveboy of T&T, is pushing the creative envelope with his new release Ta Buena La Cosa—a latin-flavoured love song featuring Hardy together with singer Dia aka Claudia Cruz of Dominican Republic.

In a release, the Trinbagonian performer, businessman and advocate for cultural integration said the song has been embraced by both the Caribbean and Latin American markets and has the potential to further break down cultural barriers.

In addition to this Latin crossover song, Hardy also released his debut mixtape album entitled W.Y.S.I.W.Y.G (What You See Is What You Get), which features collaborations with American electro-pop artiste McLoughlin and New Hampshire-based hip-hop duo Cave Boys, as well as guest spots from Trinidadian performers Sparx, Flipo, Meet Source, XO, Paro, DJ Rawkus, Yung Rudd and Mixsture.
