Comedian Rachel Price found Guilty
Local entertainer Rachel Price known for her outspoken style of comedy has been found guilty on a charge of using obscene language. For this she was fined $200 or in default will serve 30 days hard labour, to be suspended, upon completion of 180 hours of community service over a period of one year, effective 21/4/11.
She was also charged with assault by beating but was discharged and ordered by the court to make an open apolgy to teacher Michelle Mc Leod-Campbell, whom she had the altercation with.
The charge arose out of 2 offences which reportedly occurred during an incident in the lobby of the Bishop Anstey High School on November 16.
